My community pharmacist does not accept emails. What do I do?
You can print your order off and then take the paper copy to your community pharmacist instead.
Can I do repeat prescriptions?
Yes, you can do this by saving the pdf of your prescription to your computer and printing this same document to give to your pharmacist.
Do I have to use this site to order my gluten free food?
No, you do not have to use this site but patients do find it easier. The paper based system still operates and therefore you have a choice of what system you use.
My printer is not working, what do I do?
If you go to your local public library you will get access to a PC and be able to print off the order from the site. Some community pharmacies will accept an email. Please discuss this with your pharmacy.
Can I alter the number of units I have been given by the dietitian?
No, the units are based on UK guidelines and have been set to ensure that your nutritional needs are met. Prescribable gluten free foods should only provide 15% of a patient's energy requirements. The remainder should be from naturally occurring gluten free foods or gluten free foods purchased from retail outlets. If you feel you are not receiving enough untis please contact your community pharmacy who will then signpost you to support.
